Role purpose:

We are seeking a customer-focused individual with strong analytical skills and technology experience to help us analyze and solve complex data problems.

A successful candidate should be passionate about using data to drive decision-making processes and persevering in finding answers to “why?” and “how?” questions.

Candidate responsibilities will include design, creation and management of data-oriented solutions for our diverse business clients.  As a key member of the team, we expect that he/she will be able to partner with internal and external stakeholders to help define requirements for data solutions as well as communicate with other data scientists, analysts, operations, data warehouse and product teams to bring solutions to client business needs.

 

 

Candidate’s profile:

– master degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics or related field

– analytical skills with ability to collect, analyse and visualise large datasets and draw appropriate conclusions

– min. 1 year of experience in data analytics roles

– fluency in Python and/or R (incl. machine learning libraries)

strong interpersonal and communication skills

– very good written and spoken English

 

We particularly appreciate:

– working knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, Ansible, etc.)

– experience in front-end data presentation technologies (Bokeh, D3.js, etc.)
